Reduce buffering with Real Debrid

If you’re having issues with reliability or buffering when watching your streams, you may consider trying to see if the Real-Debrid service can help you. Most of the sources you pick within a streaming add-on have some form of premium-subscription that come with a selection of perks,  increased streaming speed being principle among them. Real–Debrid is a service that works by amalgamating the premium subscriptions into a single package. This means you only need one subscription to handle most of the sources out there instead of trying to maintain 5-6 at a time. Faster stream speeds from the sources potentially means less than buffering. Now not all sources will be covered by Real-Debrid but eventually you’ll learn to stick to your covered sources as much as possible.

 

Once you’ve signed up for your account make sure to to follow the steps below so that your kodi device makes use of the service properly:

Step 1: Once Kod”has been launched Navigate to the Settings tab under System

 

 

Step 2: Scrool down to Add-ons on the left side menu.

 

Step 3: Select System.

 

Step 4: Choose the Dependencies option.

 

Step 5: Scroll down to the URLResolver add-on at the bottom of the listing.

 

Step 6: Click on the Configure button.

 

Step 7: Shift over to  Resolvers 3.

 

Step 8: Scroll down to the debrid service and Toggle On the login field, and fill out the authentication details.

 

 

Step 9: Set the Priority field to 90.

 

 

Step 10: Click on the OK button tp save the resolver settings.

 

Step 11: Return to the main Kodi menu, then Navigate to the Add-ons tab under the VIDEOS menu. Kodi will now use Real0Debrid to resolve any supported sources with premium service enabled. Genesis will require a few additional steps which are continue below

 

Genesis Only:

 

Step 14: Launch Genesis and Click on the “Tools” menu within the Genesis add-on.

 

Step 15: Choose the SETTINGS : Accounts tab at this point.

 

Step 16: Input your  service authentication details under the appropriate heading.

 

Step 17: Click on the OK button.

 

 

That should take care of your install, and assuming there isn’t a bottleneck on your end you should be noticing much faster loading and much less buffering.
