We all know that Genesis is the leading XBMC / Kodi add-on at the present time and it looks like another unique trick that we are going to show you has pushed Genesis even further infront of other add-ons.
From today you will be able to enable subtitles on movies and tv shows in Genesis!
As you can see above, we are playing Fury in 1080p with dutch subtitles enabled! BOOM!!!!
Having subtitles is a very important part of any add-on, it allows users from around the world half a chance to watch something that they can understand. If you imagine the amount of users that have to wait until a released version of a movie or tv show is in their native language? It could be weeks or even months, so having a option like this on the best XBMC / Kodi add-on is music to our ears.
Find Genesis on your setup and highlight it
(DO NOT CLICK TO ENTER)
On your keyboard press ‘c’ to activate the context menu.
Scroll down and select Add-on Settings.
Your screen will now look like this.
Drop down to Subtitles and select. You will now be on the right side of the screen, enable subtitles.
You will know subtitles are enabled as the box will turn red.
Press ‘Primary Language’ and you will see various countries to choose from.
For this tutorial we are choosing Dutch
Choose you desired country.
Now we are going to change our ‘Secondary Language’, we are choosing English.
The reason for the two language set-ups is that if a film hasn’t the primary, it will automatically chose the secondary.
Once your happy with your changes, hit the OK tab at the bottom.
Your now ready to hit up some movies or TV shows with your subtitles enabled.
Note: Not all films have enabled subtitles, especially new releases, you will need to wait for these obviously
