Every now and then a repository needs to be refreshed either because it’s all of a sudden empty or the developer has pushed an update. Well, through a simple add-on called the MuckyDuck Wizard, you can force refresh all installed add-ons on your device. Now, it’s probably not advised to to this all the time however, once every two weeks, it may be worth pushing a force refresh to all your repos to make sure that you have the very latest add-ons and plugins available by the devs. Doing this one by one will take far too long, so the guys behind Mucky Duck’s repository have come up with a simple solution, an all in one force refresh.
FIRST THINGS FIRST, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE MUCKY DUCKS REPOSITORY INSTALLED ON YOUR DEVICE.
FOLLOW THE GUIDE TO INSTALL THE MUCKY DUCK’S REPO FIRST.
STEP 1 – FROM THE MAIN NAVIGATION BAR, HIT THE DOWN ARROW TO BRING UP THE SMART MENU.
STEP2 – LOCATE ADD-ONS AND CLICK ENTER
STEP 3 – CLICK GET ADD-ONS
STEP 4 – CLICK MUCKY DUCK REPOSITORY AND CLICK ENTER.
STEP 5 – CLICK PROGRAM ADD-ONS
STEP 6 – LOCATE MUCKY DUCK WIZARD AND CLICK ENTER.
STEP 7 – CLICK INSTALL AND WAIT FOR NOTIFICATION AT THE TOP. .
STEP 8 – EXIT OUT AND RETURN TO THE MAIN MENU. FROM THE MAIN MENU CLICK THE DOWN ARROW TO BRING UP THE SMART MENU AND THEN CLICKVIDEO ADD-ONS. (OR IF YOU HAVE A SHORTCUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO USE IT).
STEP 9 – LOCATE THE MUCKY DUCK WIZARD AND CLICK ENTER.
STEP 10 – SCROLL DOWN TO MAINTAINENCE AND CLICK ENTER.
STEP 11 – SCROLL DOWN TO FORCE REFRESH AND CLICK ENTER.
You will now get a notification to say that the refresh was successful. So to recap, we have just shown you how to quickly perform a force refresh on all installed repositories on your device using the MuckyDuck Wizard.
