We’ve been taking a look at the MIMIC skin for KODI and putting it through its paces running on a Prometheus HTPC and we must say, it’s pretty slick. Easy to use, navigate, clear and bold, great graphics so just about everything that you would be looking for in a skin.
In terms of how well it runs, well it runs flawlessly on the Prometheus with no lagging, or slowing down of the device. It’s a pretty lightweight skin so I think that it would be fine on the slower boxes with minimal loss of functionality.
As you can see from some of the screenshots below, it looks pretty cool. If you’re looking for a quick change on your device then it’s certainly worth checking it out.

As you can see from the screenshots taken below, there are a lot of different options to play with here. The skin is quite smooth and lightweight, so if you’re running it on your Prometheus then you’ll have no problems what so ever. We’ve only touched on the basics of the MIMIC skin here there are lots of options for you to have a play around with.
All in all, it seems like a nice fluid, easy to use skin with big bold clearly visible buttons and navigation. What it actually looks like is a combination of several top KODI skins like Aeon Nox and reFocus and have been developed into one super skin.
